Day 11

By: Kurt Barnes

Scripture:
“Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.” — Romans 12:9–10

Reflection:
Romans 12:9–10 calls us to embody sincere love—a love that rejects evil and clings to what is good. This passage encourages us to be devoted to one another, fostering a community where honor and mutual respect are paramount. By living out this devotion, we reflect the heart of Christ’s reconciling love, creating spaces where His grace and truth can flourish.

Today, let us focus on cultivating sincere devotion and care within our relationships at Silver Creek Fellowship. As we serve and honor one another, we strengthen the bonds of our community, becoming vibrant expressions of God’s love.

Prayer Focus:

  • Devotion to One Another: Pray for a sincere devotion among the members of Silver Creek Fellowship. Ask God to show us how to serve each other and live out the selfless love described in Romans.
  • Honor and Service: Seek God’s guidance in identifying ways to honor and serve others, reflecting His reconciling love in your interactions. Pray for clarity on specific opportunities or relationships where you can make an impact.
  • Growth of Small Groups: Pray for the deepening of commitments within small groups at Silver Creek Fellowship. Ask God to inspire genuine care and support among group members, fostering a nurturing environment.
  • Expansion of Small Groups: Ask God to increase the number of small groups within the Fellowship, providing more opportunities for individuals to connect, grow, and support one another in love.

Action Step:
Extend a tangible act of honor or service to someone in your community today. Whether it’s offering a helping hand, words of encouragement, or simply spending time with them, demonstrate God’s love in action. Consider reaching out to a small group or participating in one to further deepen your commitment to community.

As we commit to devotion in love, may our actions reflect the sincere love of Christ to those around us. Let our communities become places of honor, support, and growth, drawing others into the transformative experience of God’s reconciling love. Through our dedication, inspire others to live out this love, creating a ripple effect of grace and unity.
