“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.” — 1 Peter 2:9

Reflection:
1 Peter 2:9 reminds us of our identity and purpose as God’s chosen people—beloved and set apart to declare His praises. We are called to testify to the wonder of His grace, acknowledging the profound transformation we have experienced as He brought us from darkness into His marvelous light. This call inspires both gratitude and action, urging us to share the gospel so others may encounter His saving love.

Today, let us focus on our calling to be heralds of the good news. As we remember how God has rescued us, let that wonder propel us into opportunities to share His light with those around us.
