Scripture:

“And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.”— Ephesians 6:18–20

Reflection:

Ephesians 6:18–20 calls us to a life of continual prayer, supporting one another as we strive to boldly share the gospel. Paul’s request for courage and clarity in proclaiming the mystery of Christ encourages us to seek the same strength in our own witness. As ambassadors for Christ, fearless and faithful sharing is both our calling and privilege.

Let us commit to praying for ourselves and each other, that we may speak with conviction, guided by the Spirit. Our lives are powerful testimonies of God’s grace, and our words can open the door to His transforming love in the hearts of others.

Today, let’s pray for boldness and the right words to declare God’s wondrous deeds, and for the resources necessary to expand His kingdom through our church’s mission.

Prayer Focus:

• Fearless Proclamation: Pray that God would make us all fearless and faithful in sharing the gospel, trusting in His strength to guide us.
• Words of Understanding: Ask God for the words we need to help others understand the wonder of all He has done. Pray for divine wisdom and eloquence in our communication.
• Church Building Plan and Resources: Pray for our church building plan to be completed successfully, asking God to provide the necessary funds to support this mission. May this development facilitate many more to come to faith in Jesus and grow in their relationship with Him.
• Continuous Support: Commit to praying in the Spirit on all occasions for one another, lifting up the needs and hopes of our community as we journey together in faith.

Action Step:

Consider joining a prayer group or prayer chain within our community. Engage actively in prayers for your fellow believers, ensuring collective strength and encouragement.

As we unite in prayer today, may we be filled with a spirit of boldness and conviction, empowered to declare the gospel fearlessly. Let our church come together as one body, united in purpose, and strengthened by His love, ready to reach out and impact our world in His name. May our trust in God to provide the words, courage, and resources required for His vision be unwavering, as we serve as His ambassadors on earth.
